![]() I'm still working on diffrent builds for the outlander class so its only a matter of time to find a build I like.īut so for easiest for me has been engie with the heal bot and all the other nice toys in that spec. In boss fights its real pain in the ass with any adds the boss has, unlike in other games like WoW the pet in this game is not much of a tank for an outlander. You would think so but I find engi to be a bit easier then Outlander, I rolled an Outlander as my second chara and against individual targets outlander is fine, but when you get in those monster pile ups you pretty much have to tuck tail and run, switch to a CC weapon like the shotgun and pray nothings loops behind you or comes from the side. The Torchlight 1 Class Pack (TL1CP), is another class mod that adds the 3 original classes from TL1 to TL2, but improved to fit into the TL2 mechanics. But let's be real, ranged DPS always have the best survivability. Variant Classes is a great compilation of custom classes, merging a ton and making them more balanced, fixing bugs and MP compatible. And just like all of them, I'll have angry Outlander player now replying and saying how much skill it takes, etc etc etc. Just like in Diablo 3 it was the Demon Hunter. Originally posted by Nacho Chilli Chez:From the looks of it, by best, you mean easiest. she was completely worthless until you found a bow with knockback and high attack speed. you had to be suicidal to select that fragile, ridiculously-low-damage chick. he was far from easy or noob-friendly, but the hardest was Rogue. Speaking of Diablo 1, Sorceror started weakest, but then got Mana Shield + Apocalypse + enough mana to cast both, and became unstoppable even at Hell difficulty.īut you did need to know what you're doing to get to that point, because any monster who got close would own you. I will have to play both classes more, but so far the Outlander doesn't even come close. ![]() From the few skills that I have tried so far, Embermage has some ridiculous damage potential. The point I am getting at is it isn't always the bow user, and I don't think Outlander is going to take the title. Sorceress from D2 and Paladin with enigma from D2. In which case, you forgot several examples of games that date farther back. In other words, able to deal the most damage while avoiding the most damage. But let's be real, ranged DPS always have the best survivability. This is a collection of all the builds I played over the years. If you want to use the 'Chaos Burst' or 'Shadow Shot' then you would have to sacrifice some points somewhere. Yeah you get the point and can see the pattern of what I’m looking for here.Originally posted by Nacho Chilli Chez:From the looks of it, by best, you mean easiest. This is basically the max amount of skill points. Similar to an Arms Warrior from World of Warcraft, A Berserker from Torchlight, A Barbarian from Diablo. So, what class combination(and what points should I take in each class tree?) would be the most optimal for a 2 handed melee user that want to wreck stuff using brute force? ![]() I want pointers in the correct direction, and before you say “Google” or “Youtube”, yeah, I’ve already looked that up, but since I’m a newbie I don’t understand most of the guides that uses abbreviations and ingame terms (yet…) and I could really use a hand here. Now, I’m level 32 Soldier and before I say anything else, I’m not looking for boost or free stuff. I bought Grim Dawn a few days ago and decided to buy the expansions because I liked the game so much. Hello ladies and gentlement of Grim Dawn! I’m a Newbie and don’t know where to post this so I hope this is the correct place and sorry if it isn’t!
